I’ve converted the other blog on this domain (Workbench) to a set of static files, and removed the underlying WordPress instance that was serving it. I’ve not been using the blog since 2015, and it seems rather wasteful of resources to dynamically host a set of (now) static pages.
I used ‘export‘ to create an xml representation I can perhaps use in the future if I ever want to re-awaken the blog, and I used the Simply Static plugin to create an entirely static file version of the site. That’s been dropped in as a replacement at the same URL the blog existed at, so links should still work!
